Admittedly this is more of a footnote in our lives rather than an event. But since we've lived in SF, there has been a dead tree in front of our house. We don't know how or why it happened, but our landlord and/or the city finally got around to replacing it with a new tree that matches the others around it. Whatever happened, we're very glad to have the good chi of a living tree in front of our home.
