4 March 2000. Muni F-line to the embarcadero opens. now we can jump on a streecar at market and castro and go all the way to fisherman's wharf. it takes like 90 minutes, but if you're going to the wharf, you're probably not in a hurry. here's the chronicle article. here's a cool map.
