it's tough saying goodbye to good friends. justin is a *great* friend. kelly and justin worked together at eTranslate for eight months until justin left on january 13th, 2001
to return home to the UK after a series of unfortunate run-ins with american culture, the last of which was the old-fashioned carjacking. why anyone would pick on a such a sturdy, combat-experienced, ex-royal-military officer is beyond me.
I, and everyone else at eTranslate, will miss him dearly: he told great stories, helped everyone's golf swing, played a mean game of foosball, was the department clown, and wrote great code to boot. oh, which reminds me, he actually showed
us his boot that he was wearing when he stepped on a mine in bosnia. based on the boot, I wouldn't recommend trying it :)
I look forward to visiting him, his wife, and child(ren?) in the UK very soon.
