Over memorial day weekend, we went and checked out the new Pacific Bell ballpark. Our friends Eric, Steve, and his friend joined us for the adventure. The trip was really top-notch. What we liked: super architecture, garlic fries, good seats close to the field, hunky straight guys, being by the water, and unfairly lopsided teams that make for short games (the Cubs crushed the Giants 3-1).
One of the best features of the park is that it seats about 40,000, but has parking for less than 5,000. After 26 consecutive sell-out games, parking hasn't been a problem. Why? Because you can take transit! Caltrain, BART, and Muni all go there. Even the ferry has a special dock right at the park. For more ballpark info, click
