My friend Patrick Gates recently turned thirty. His girlfriend, Laura, very carefully arranged a suprise party for him. Not only was he completely unaware, Laura managed to compile a guest list that included people from almost every period of his life. It was a great party, Patrick is great at 30, and Laura is just the best (and what great glasses!)
