This was our first trip back to Seattle in about 18 months. It used to be home, so it was weird to go back and see 'home' but all different that we remember it. We flew in Thursday July 13, so we could see one of our hosts, Jonathan, race at the track on friday night. Kelly got to catch up with his Sister, and we all got caught up on Seattle dirt with our friend Jenn. We also went to a super party thrown by our distant friend Hoyt. Sunday, we got to ride the new talgo trains.
^ One nice thing about being in Seattle in July: the weather is nicer than in San Fran! This is the reservior at Volunteer park.

& Kathern Ropp in their delightful house in fremont. JC has totally replumbed it.

Kelly and KR at the velodrome. JC is racing behind them. Kelly used to race back in 96-97, but never as good as JC (though he won now & then).
Us and and Kelly's former roomate, Alys Fraser. She was attending to the spanking station at Hoyt's party, the seven steps to salvation.
Here's our punchcard for the party. To reach the actual party, each guest had to reach salvation by following the proscribed path. Naturally it involved a lot of drinking and crazy rituals that made you feel a bit like you were at burning man.
Brian with our friend Paul Skavland. He just bought a condo in Kirkland and entertained Brian while Kelly hung with his sister.
